Michael Novelli Vice President, Operations
Joining International Power in 2006 as Vice President, Operations, Mike oversees all operations and maintenance activities, including optimization of life cycle costs and performance for International Power's North American region. In this role, he provides direction and oversight of plant management personnel, the central engineering group, outage, and corporate environmental health and safety functions.
Prior to joining International Power, Mike served as Vice President, Operations/Technical for Marubeni Corporation where he specialized in project and operational structuring, project engineering, budgeting and project optimization. Also active in business development activities, Mike served as lead technical advisor and lead operations advisor in the Asian market. Mike has also held various leadership positions with Intergen, Texas Independent Energy, and Sithe Energy, including General Manager, Plant Manager, and Manager, Corporate Operations.
