Phil Cox
Chief Executive Officer

Phil Cox became the Chief Executive Officer of International Power plc in December 2003, having previously been the Company's Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for the overall management of the Company and leading the executive and operational teams in implementing the strategies approved by the Board.

Phil is a chartered accountant and joined International Power as Chief Financial Officer in May 2000 prior to its demerger from National Power in October 2000. Prior to this he was a senior vice president at Invensys, responsible for operational planning.

Phil is a Non-Executive Director of Wincanton Plc and Chairman of its Remuneration Committee.

Mark Williamson
Chief Financial Officer

Mark was appointed Chief Financial Officer of International Power in December 2003, having previously been Group financial controller. His responsibilities include financial control and reporting, tax and risk management.

Mark joined the Company as Group financial controller, with responsibility for the Group's financial reporting, in September 2000, prior to its demerger from National Power in October 2000. Prior to this Mark was at Simon Group plc, where he was the Group financial controller.

Mark is a Non-Executive Director of Imperial Tobacco plc and Chairman of its Audit Committee.
